Banana Bread

Never Fail Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick of butter or 1/2 cup of coconut oil
  • 5 Tablespoons of milk
  • 1 Tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 Very ripe full size bananas
  • 2/3 Cup blue agave  
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • 2 Cups whole wheat flour (Red Mills is a good brand to use)
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix the egg, butter, milk, vinegar, vanilla, bananas and blue agave together.
  2. Mix the flour, baking soda and salt together.
  3. Mix the dry mixture into the wet mixture with an automatic mixer. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Preheat over to 350 degrees F.
  5. Put a thin layer of butter or coconut oil in a bread pan add the mixture.
  6. Place the bread pan in the oven and cook for 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes if you want the top a little crispy.
  7. Let the bread cool for about 15 minutes remove from bread pan onto a cooling rack. Cut a piece for yourself and enjoy!
