Coconut Crusted Shrimp


Coconut Pecan Crusted Shrimp

 

Ingredients

  • 1 Cups pecan pieces
  • 1 Cup shredded coconut
  • 12 Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 Cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1/4 Cup blue agave
  • 1/2 Tbs baking powder Pinch of cinnamon

Directions

  1. Mix water, blue agave sugar, baking powder and cinnamon.
  2. Coat shrimp with flour then run through mixture.
  3. Roll in coconut and pecan pieces.
  4. Drop into Coconut Oil and fry for approximately 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. careful not to overcook! Serve & enjoy!!
