Diabetes Cure - Kidney Health

Kidney health is essential for a healthy body. It is important to keep your kidneys working at an optimal level. Without proper kidney function you would die.
The first step in making sure your kidneys are healthy is to get a blood organ test.
If the bun (blood urea nitrogen), phos (phosphorus) and crea (creatinine) levels are elevated you have a kidney issue.
If any or all of these levels are elevated you will want to immediately change your diet. It is important that you also review any drugs (even aspirin) you may be taking and the effects that drug has on the kidneys.
The main strain on kidneys outside of medication is something called Purines. These are substances that break down creating the chemical uric acid. Purine rich foods are typically protein rich foods.
Uric acid destroys the body and organs. It is imperative that you eliminate it from your body. It causes gout, acid reflux, osteoporosis, teeth damage, kidney failure and the list goes on and on.
Symptoms of kidney problems include chills, fever, urinary urgency, fluid retention (bloating), abdominal pain, appetite loss, back pain, nausea, and vomiting. The urine may be cloudy or bloody. Back pain may be sudden and intense, occurring just above the waist and running down the groin area.
High levels of blood urea in humans can affect the kidneys. If the uric acid content becomes high it can cause pains in your joints. More raised level of uric acid in the body leads to the formation of kidney stones. In human beings, the blood urea converts to uric acid. If this is in excess, the effect of this compound on the kidneys is high in diabetic patients. When excess of urea deposit is found in the body, it indicates the failure or less functioning of the kidneys. It can also cause renal failure.
Supplements and diet changes that are essential to kidney health:
  1. Drink at least 2oz of 100% black cherry juice each day or Solgar Tart Cherry Capsules 2 a day (A good one is Natural Sources Black Cherry Concentrate  order at
  2. Take at least 1 billion culture of acidophilus. (I have found acidophilus pearls to work really well.)
  3. Drink 1/2 your body weight in purified water ounces. If you weigh 100lbs you would drink 50 ounces of purified water.
  4. Multi Vitamin preferably a capsule
  5. Begin juicing. (Make sure you only drink the juice not the pulp) Each day juice 2 stalks of celery, 1 very small beet, 2 apples and 1 lemon. This makes enough for 2 people. Drink right away because live enzymes die in about 10 minutes.
  6. Lower your protein intake to .5 grams per pound of body weight. So if you weigh 100lbs you should not eat more that 50grams of protein each day.
  7. Eliminate foods that are high in purines (uric acid)
  8. Add any kind of coconut to your life. Coconut eliminates acid fast and heals your body fast. To ready all the benefits of coconut click on this link
  9. Take one Nutri-West Core Level Kidney pill each day
