Diabetes Cure Yummy Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

Yummy Vanilla Ice Cream - 10 carbs per cup (8oz)

2 1/2 cups of whole milk
1 whole vanilla bean (halved and seeds scraped
1/4 cup turbano sugar
2 cups of heavy cream
pinch of salt
4 large egg yolks
1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1. In a medium saucepan set over medium-low heat, stir together the milk, vanilla bean (including the pods), and half of the sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil. Remove from heat; let mixture steep for 1 to 2 hours. After steeping add the cream and salt and gradually return the mixture just to a boil over medium low heat. Remember to stir the mixture as it is heating.

2. In a separate bowl combine the egg yolks and the rest of the sugar mix on low until it looks pale and thick.

3. Mix 1/3 of the hot milk mixture into the egg yolks.  Then add another 1/3 of the milk mixture. Once this is mixed pour it back into the remain 1/3 hot milk mixture. Stir constantly under low heat until the mixture thickens slightly. Do not overheat the mixture. Do not bring it to a boil.  

4. Stir in the almond and vanilla extract. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours or overnight.

5. Remove the vanilla pods. Turn on your ice cream maker and pour the mixture in. Once the ice cream is done add roasted crushed nuts and serve. It is delicious! 

This has to be one of the best vanilla ice cream recipes I have ever had. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
